Atlanta Latin Theme Entertainment
Before heading off to a Cuban
theme party, Latin theme party or Latin dance show, salsa dancers
should check out some of the year round entertainment in this
bustling city with a tropical Caribbean feel.
Start off the year with the Atlanta
Boat Show and see bands, concerts and more during Martin Luther
King Jr Week in January. Sample food and wine at the Best of
Atlanta show in February.
It's a great chance to try the
best dishes from the city's finest restaurants. Enjoy the outdoors
with April's Concerts by the Springs or check out the action
at the Masters Golf Tournament.
May provides a great chance to
experience the range of Atlanta's culture. There's international
music and dancing at the Decatur Arts Festival and the local
jazz festival takes place on Memorial Day weekend.
Check out the arts and crafts
at the Big Shanty Festival or soak up the tropical atmosphere
at the Spring Caribbean Festival, where there will be plenty
of dancing.
Flower lovers will enjoy the
Avondale Garden Walk and Marketplace in June, and there are lots
of Independence Day events in July.
Latin music dancers will get
the chance to enjoy bands, salsa and more at the Latino Festival
in August. You will hear Cuban music and Latin music from the
big bands and copy the moves of the best salsa dancers.
There are stunning costumes to
see and you'll enjoy some great food too. October brings more
action, when the Latin America Film Festival comes to town. That's
something for all salsa Latin dancers to enjoy. Finish up the
year with lights, nativity concerts and more.
